Hamari Pahchan is a non-profit organization committed to empowering marginalized communities across Delhi with dignity and self-reliance, with a particular focus on women’s safety, education, and menstrual health. Through community-based interventions, public safety initiatives, and skill development programs, the organization works to create safer, more equitable pathways for long-term social and personal development within the communities it serves. Its work focuses on building sustainable solutions that strengthen access to opportunities, resources, and essential support for individuals and families.
The Confidence Equation Network (T-CEN) has partnered with Hamari Pahchan to deliver mathematics enrichment programming to girls from underserved communities in Delhi. Through this collaboration, girls engage directly with practical, confidence-building mathematics education, from student-led problem-solving sessions to an ongoing extracurricular math club, designed to strengthen both their mathematical confidence and their awareness of quantitative career pathways. The program aims to make mathematics more accessible and engaging while encouraging girls to see themselves as capable participants in fields where quantitative skills play an important role.
